Friendswood visit

PS – I had to add this picture of a mini with a space shuttle on it.

My visit in Friendswood, I was able to spend time with my Bio-mom’s husband. She passed in 2019, (Eva and I did get to meet her in 2017). He misses his wife terribly, and has plugged in to a local church now, which seems to be giving him friendships and some comfort. We were able to bond as he told me about his life (all 82 years) he is an interesting person and very fascinating. We tried to define our ?relationship? which we decided would be step-daughter/ father. I was even able to meet and pet his reclusive cat Emmy, who probably picked up on my DNA (lol) #catsense . He has an awesome library (with a glass door and dehumidifier and everything) I got to take some books!!! There are tons of sunflowers which were her favorite, and basically a whole ecology with trees and a place for birds and squirrels. We ate (2x) at a yummy Mediterranean place called Dimassi’s! Looking forward to another visit in the future.
